This is my art portfolio! In addition to website design I also dabble in surface pattern design, and needed a place to showcase all of my patterns available for licensing to pitch to potential clients. I wanted the website to complement the fun and playful nature of my artwork, so I chose to use bright colors, wavy lines and big retro flowers throughout the site.
The main focus of the website was to show off my repeat patterns that are available for licensing. I wanted the portfolio to be fun to explore while still being simple to navigate. On the featured collection page (shown below), the goal was to showcase the two main color themes of the collection in an appealing way while also ensuring users could easily explore the various color options for each individual pattern, without the design looking too busy or complicated.
