I'm Jen, a freelance web designer and artist based in sunny Los Angeles, California. I’ve been creating unique, brand-focused Squarespace and Wordpress websites since 2019.

how much will it cost to design my website?
Pricing depends on the scope of the project. During our consultation, we'll discuss your requirements, and after the call I'll provide a customized quote based on the complexity and features you desire. But generally web design projects begin at $2,500.
Note this does not include the cost to host your website or buy a domain. I’ll walk you through how to do that (and share my 20% Squarespace discount with you).
how long will it take?
Obviously timelines vary based on the project's complexity, but in general custom websites take between 4-8 weeks. We'll discuss specific timeline needs during our initial consultation call.
do you only work in Squarespace?
I prefer to work in Squarespace for new websites, but if you have an existing website in Wordpress or Wix I can also work with that.
how do I make changes to the website after the launch?
I will provide you with instructional videos and a style guide to set you up for success, but you can always hire me to do website updates for you.
If you find any bugs or mistakes I made in the first month after the website launch, I will fix them at no additional charge.
can you optimize my website for search engines (SEO)?
Yes I incorporate SEO best practices into the design process to ensure your website is search engine-friendly.
why should I hire someone to make me a Squarespace website? aren’t there templates I can use?
Sure, these days anyone can build a website. But building one that not only looks good but also reflects your brand's personality, and drives sales, and engages your audience requires a professional web designer’s expertise.
In addition, building a beautiful and functional website takes time, especially if you’re learning how to use Squarespace for the first time. While it is very user-friendly, there is still a learning curve. And I’m sure you are already beyond busy trying to run your business or nonprofit organization. By hiring someone who is a Squarespace expert, you’ll be saving yourself a ton of time. I’ll also provide you with walkthrough videos and guides to help you with updating the content on your website after the initial launch, so you’ll basically be getting a personalized Squarespace crash course as well.
